Matches At Marist Park @ St. Bede's College Played Saturday - 13th
June 2010
Canterbury's
fourth artificial hockey field was used for the first time on Saturday,
June 12th, with seven Junior 11-a-side girls matches played at Marist
Park @ St. Bede's College.
The first ever match on the field was played at 8,00am between Harewood
Gold and the Hornby Cats, with the result a 0-all draw.
The Marist Park field will be in full use from this week, with practices
and matches to be scheduled. Matches will be scheduled at this stage for
the next two weeks, with the performance of the field to be assessed across
the matches to ensure it is playing to a desired standard.
